It is important that the recliner suits you, and this is why most Stressless designs come in two or three sizes. These size differences are noticeable to the body but barely visible to the eye, so it is quite possible to have chairs of different sizes standing next to each other.

Stress lumbar support is infinitely variable and synchronised with the glide mechanism, filling the hollow in your lumbar region when you sit in the upright position, ensuring good, natural support in all positions.

Stressless Care and Maintenance
Leather is an organic, preserved material which does not produce its own fat. On a piece of furniture that is in daily use, exposed to external stress, it is important to be aware of the following if the leather is to be protected as long as possible:
• Leather fades when exposed to direct sunlight.
• Leather is exposed daily to grease and dirt from hands, hair and clothing.
• Leather dries out from warm and dry air.
For these reasons, Ekornes recommends the following treatment of the furniture:
• Avoid direct sunlight. If the furniture is near a large window, use venetian blinds or awnings.
• Avoid placing near radiators or fan heaters.
• Avoid drying. Air humidity which is comfortable for you is best for the leather.
• Vacuum the leather carefully to remove dust particles.
• Clean the leather regularly to remove grease and dirt.
